William R. Bisanz - CEO and Founder

Bill founded Elite Destination Homes out of his love for travel and real estate. Having traveled extensively he often daydreamed about owning property in some of the special places around the world. Bill has a background in real estate, management consulting and international business. He and holds a bachelors from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Columbia University. He has lived abroad on a two occasions and he speaks Spanish fluently and French poorly. Bill’s family (wife and two kids) accompanies him on his travels whenever possible. Bill enjoys sailing, juggling, tennis and is trying to enjoy golf.

Craig H. Brinkman, CPA – Chief Financial Officer and Founder

Craig oversees the financial strategy of Elite Destination Homes. He is a CPA and has a background in public accounting with extensive experience in real estate. Craig holds a B.S. in accounting from St. Thomas University. Craig is married and has two sons who are following in his footsteps to become Eagle Scouts. Craig enjoys being outdoors and is really happy when hunting and fishing seasons roll around. He is affectionately referred to as “Jefe Brinkman.”

Tobias M. Shapiro – Principal

Tobias has over 25 years experience in marketing and international business. Tobias grew up in New York City and in France and has maintained a close relationship with Europe, in particular France. Tobias graduated from The Dalton School in New York City, and studied at Washington University in St. Louis and Columbia. Tobias loves creating exceptional real estate opportunities for Elite owners in Paris and throughout in Europe and the Americas. Tobias is fluent in French and owns three horses and two dogs with his wife Anne. Tobias enjoys exploring new places, architecture, eating and cooking good food, and discovering little known and eclectic fancy items.

Kathryn S. Lynden - Principal

Kathryn brings deep marketing experience from some world-class marketing companies. Kathryn is passionate about creating the perfect owner experience and ensuring that Elite delivers on its promises to our owners. Kathryn holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison where she was a varsity football cheerleader. Kathryn has traveled extensively and has a personal knowledge of the many destinations where Elite has a presence. Kathryn is married and has three grandchildren. Kathryn has more energy than the rest of the Elite team combined.

Mark Stevens – Co-ownership Investments

Mark brings a background in real estate, music and technology to Elite. He has traveled the world managing concert touring productions. Mark was a successful real estate agent prior to joining Elite and he has extensive understanding of real estate investing and design. Mark holds a degree in music from Ohio State University. Mark is married and has two children. Mark is unusual in that he is a gifted Raconteur who is very good at technology.

Maya Fors – Concierge and Reservations

Maya has a background in property management and client service. She is one of the two single points of contact for Elite owners. She is a champion for taking excellent care of Elite owners and renters while enjoying these great homes. Maya is married and has two children. She enjoys singing country music and hopes to be on American Idol someday.

Jacob Semling - Concierge and Reservations

Jacob also has a background in property management and client service. He is one of the two single points of contact for Elite owners. Jacob holds a bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. Jacob enjoys playing soccer, watching football (Green Bay Packers fan) and movies.

Becky Tomek, MBA– Controller

Becky holds an MBA from Keller School of Management in Chicago. Her 30-year career has been in real estate. She and her husband recently moved to the Twin Cities from Chicago.

Becky keeps all our accounting straight which is no small feat given Elite owns homes in four countries with a total of three languages. She is learning foreign language as she deciphers bank statements in both Spanish and French.

Nancy Wilson – Executive Assistant

Nancy keeps the executive team in tow with exceptional resourcefulness and a keen sense of humor. Nancy attended Iowa State University and has been active in community theater. She has one son and prior to joining the Elite team, she was an Executive Assistant at Pillsbury. Nancy is an avid sports fan with a soft spot for all team Minnesota (except Vikings!)

Robert Bisanz – Founder

Bob is the co-founder of Real Estate Equities, Elite’s parent company. Bob’s successful investment activity in the Turks and Caicos paved the way for Elite Destination Homes and he has been integral to Elite’s expansion in the Turks' fractional ownership market. During over 38 years in the real estate business, Bob has developed over 9,000 units of apartment housing in the upper Midwest. Bob studied at Notre Dame and holds a degree from St. Thomas University. Bob has been married for 40 years, has three kids and two grandchildren. Bob is a champion of addiction recovery causes. Bob enjoys golf and travel and is a connoisseur of ice cream cones around the world.

Terrence Troy – Founder

Terry is the co-founder of Real Estate Equities, Elite’s parent company. During his 38 years in real estate he has developed nearly 9,000 units of apartment housing in the upper Midwest. Terry has been integral in developing the Elite business model and strategy. Terry holds a degree from Dartmouth University in Hanover, New Hampshire. Terry has been married for forty-nine years, has four kids and fifteen grandchildren. Terry is also champion of addiction recovery causes. Terry enjoys architecture, a good cigar and figuring out the impossible.
